Someone told me they think my videos are unprofessional.
That I should really have a film crew do them.
Really?
Would a film crew follow me to the top of a mountain?
Or float along on the water’s surface after a scuba dive?
Look, I speak my mind and share my thoughts when the ideas hit me, when I’m inspired, and dragging a film crew along with me just isn’t the way I roll. (After all, my name isn’t Kardashian).
You see, my videos aren’t meant to be PERFECT.
They’re meant to be FUNCTIONAL.
And useful.
And that’s a business lesson in and of itself.
Because you just need to get functional, not perfect.
If you wait for perfection, you’ll just keep waiting.
Learn to make a move even if all the pieces aren’t clear yet.
Because you have to get started somewhere.
And once you actually get started, then the missing pieces will get clearer and fall into place.
So get going.
Otherwise you’ll be stuck spinning your wheels.
Traction happens when you go into motion, not when you wait around for everything to be right.
Remember, that’s not unprofessional of you, it’s practical.
