I can’t tell you exactly what you can expect in 2013.
My crystal ball is broken.
Face it, it just depends on too many different factors.
Some factors are in your control.
And some factors are FAR beyond your control.
And there are lots of different factors out there.
But there is ONE thing I will predict.
Something that can possibly make your 2013 extremely profitable — whether you’re a rank amateur or a grisly old pro.
And here it is:
Take charge of your own actions and influence the outcome.
Only you can do this.
No one else is gonna do it for you.
So focus, work at it, and actually make it happen.
Then 2013 will be YOUR year.
Not popular advice lately, I know.
But I believe it’ll be more important to actually stay nimble and abreast of all the coming changes, than to just rest on your laurels.
So stay alert.
This will be far more important than ever before.
And you have to be actively ready and mentally prepared for whatever comes.
So get yourself ready now.
Batten down the hatches.
Stand your post.
And focus on your mission.
Yes… I know that’s not a very “sexy” prediction.
But remember this:
“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
And hey, let’s face it:
There are a lot of both ‘difficulties’ and ‘opportunities’ out there, so just remember to sort, sift, and separate them so you can act appropriately.
Remember that you might have to work on the fly as the conditions on the ground will be ever-changing.
Which reminds me of another great Churchill quote: “I’m just preparing my impromptu remarks.”
