I busted my nose playing…
T-Ball.
When I was a kid.
It made me gun shy for a long time.
(Or “baseball shy” more accurately).
I then had a crooked nose for many years.
And the incident affected me in sports for many years after.
Because I didn’t always push ahead.
And I didn’t always play to win.
I played too defensively, and I played scared of what other injures *might* happen to me.
That’s just no way to play, chief.
And it’s no way to go through life either, son.
You have to play to win.
Yes, accidents and injuries may happen.
But it’s all part of the game.
If you are going to be shy and wuss out because you’re scared of getting hurt, then you’ll never get ahead either.
Life is full of risks.
Some reasonable risks.
And some bad risks.
But it’s knowing how to manage that risk that creates success.
In life.
And in business.
So it’s time to start playing in the big leagues.
No more T-Ball.
Make some real money and make some real deals.
