My Mom used to say “they can’t ever take it away from you”.
True.
But it wasn’t the degree that mattered really.
It was the skills.
The knowledge.
And these days, I can’t see spending a quarter million (and up) for non-specific skills. (I studied History & Political Science after all.)
These days I’d rather learn solid techniques from actual entrepreneurs who are in the trenches, not those just pontificating from the faculty lounges.
There’s much more to be made my way.
And MUCH faster.
Maybe it’s just me, but that’s how i see it.
Sorry Mom.
We could have saved a small fortune.
Oh well.
Speaking of small fortunes, I’m in the midst of a property negotiation right now where I’ve already got the seller down $225,000 and we aren’t done yet.
That savings alone is more than my degree cost.
And I didn’t learn how to do it from anything they taught me in school.
I learned it from the type of workshop training that I’m doing on May 22nd.
Once you learn what I’m going to teach you, you can negotiate massive discounts on properties too.
And you’ll be able to do it again & again, as no one will be able to take that skill & training away from you.
Mom would be proud.
