The past tense of jumping into a pool, not the soap…

I have received a number of enquiries about next week’s “Jumpstart to A Consistent Flow of Clients” training event with Dov Gordon, so I’ll answer them publically as others probably have the same questions.

Q: Will this event be repeated?
A: Not in the foreseeable future. Dov lives overseas and is only home in the States once a year.

Q: Can I attend if I am not a member of Traction and don’t live in DC?
A: Yes, absolutely. This event is open to everyone. And we have people coming in from many states for it (so far an attendee from Idaho wins the award for longest distance travelled).

Q: Who is Dov?
A: Dov has been my marketing coach for a few years now. He’s revolutionized my businesses, especially with how I connect with clients. He’s done the same for many other people as well. And I’m happy to count him amongst my friends, as we’ve developed a warm friendship from working together.

(BTW, his first name is pronounced like you jumped into a pool, “dove”, the past-tense of dive, NOT like the bird or the moisturizing soap. 🙂 )

Q: What can I expect to learn?
A: The focus will be on 3 major items:
1) Crafting your compelling message.
2) Compounding your flow of leads.
3) Consistently enrolling new clients.

All key fundamental aspects of making any business successful (and exactly what most people struggle horribly with).

Q: Do I need to be in real estate like you?
A: No, any type of business owner will benefit from this training event. It’s perfect for consultants, financial advisors, business coaches, logistics consultants, or experts of any other kind. (If you know someone who would benefit, forward them this message).

Q: I’m a business improvement consultant, what can I expect to gain?
A: Clarity of who you are trying to get as clients, how to craft a simple & compelling message that best connects with your ideal clients (scratches their itch and presses their buttons), how to instantly evaluate if a marketing idea is something you should be doing, and much, much more.

It’s on Thursday May 29th at the Marriott Hotel in Tysons Corner, Virginia (suburban DC).
