“Plan your dive. Dive your plan”
That’s a saying heard often when scuba diving.
It means that you need to know what you are doing when you enter the water, as you don’t just jump into a strange environment and hope for the best.
That would be dangerous.
You need to have a clear idea in advance of what you’re doing, which direction you’re heading, and especially how long you can be down for!
Not being properly trained is a recipe for disaster
(Yet we do that so often on land…)
