You can’t handle the truth

You want answers?

You think you’re entitled to them?

You want the truth?

“You can’t handle the truth!”

Just like Jack Nicholson in “A Few Good Men”, when I get asked what I do for a living I have a simple answer.

But it’s not one you’d expect.

I simply say “I save lives”.

(and I slightly linger on the word “lives” just like Jack, for gratuitous dramatic impact…)

People pause, because they assume that I must be a doctor or a firefighter or something.

They ask for more clarification.

And then I explain.

I explain that my job is to save people’s lives FINANCIALLY.

From boring careers,

From the 9 to 5 trap,

From having to give up time with family and friends,

From not being in control of their days,

And from not being able to travel and enjoy life.

Dramatic?

Yes.

But it’s true.

That’s what I do.

I save lives.

It’s that simple.

And I only take a few good men (and women).

Think you qualify?

Then you’ll just say “thank you”.
