Not true at all.
Even if you don’t own any rental properties, I want you to understand landlord pain so you can better market to it and speak to it when negotiating the flood of deals that will be coming from it.
I think there will be a flood of motivated sellers coming from the mess that has been made by the eviction moratorium.
When that flood starts, it’ll be time to ride the wave and profit. (Not time to just finally start building an ark.)
There’s being ready in advance.
Then there’s trying to catch up after the horses have already ran far from the barn.
Remember the way I teach negotiation, the 1st phase is “PINPOINT”.
This is where you focus on their issues and speak directly to those pain points using words that both show you understand them, and also add salt into those proverbial wounds.
So you’ll need to understand what landlord property owners have gone through.
