Tom, thanks for not treating me like a blithering idiot.

So many lists that I’m on I feel like they must think I’m stupid. Or at least that most of their customers are. Perhaps that says something about me and I should just get off their lists.

But your emails are different. You don’t talk down to me. In fact, your humor is rather sophisticated and I enjoy all the subtle references that you throw in.

And I actually learn something in each message. So that makes it very unique. I’m looking forward to joining your mentoring program in a couple weeks when I get my quarterly bonus. I’m sure I’ll be one of your success stories (and that’s my goal).

Thank you for the compliment. I find most of the marketing out there makes me want to gag.

Your life will actually improve when you just unsubscribe from most of the lists you are on. They are nothing but empty hype and lack any substance.

Filter out the noise and move on.
