The frustration of too many options

When I started out in real estate investing, I was frustrated.

There were too many options to choose from.

And I really didn’t know what I needed.

All I really knew was that I wanted something different, and I didn’t want to be stuck in my J-O-B any longer.

But I started off doing the WRONG type of real estate for my personal situation, and I got into a deeper hole than I had already been in.

I had quit my job, but then I had to crawl back and get another.

I wound up at a temp agency.

The work wasn’t great.

But it paid.

Not enough to cover all the bills, but at that point some dough was much better than none.

Once I found real estate wholesaling, my business took off and I never looked back.

But that’s because wholesaling happens to fit me, and my personality type, like a glove.

But it wasn’t really just wholesaling that made me take off.

It was focusing on the core fundamentals of the real estate investing business.

Those core fundamentals are marketing, negotiation & control.

Heck, that’s true for any business.

They all need marketing, negotiation & control.

Which is why they are such powerful & TRANSFERABLE skills.

You’ll use them in whatever walk of life you’re in, and they’ll make both you, and everything you touch, better.

Which is why it was frustrating that so few people taught this main core.

That’s unfortunately still true today.

Everyone harps on about their exit strategy, but doesn’t focus on what every exit strategy needs — namely an inbound flow of leads that can be negotiated into solid deals.

What you do with them (exit strategy) comes later.

And that never comes at all if you don’t get the first steps right first.

Which is why I have my Implementation Bootcamp students focusing like a laser on these core fundamentals.

Because when they get these right, deals and business start to flow.

The same can happen for you too.

You just need to learn what to do.
