Engineers have a particular way about them.

* Methodical
* Clinical
* Process-driven
* Systems-focused
* Input/Output driven
* Numbers-based

They have to be.

Because if you mess up designing a bridge, people die. Or if you mess up building a system for a power plant, it blows up or burns down.

You get the idea…

Do the thing right, or don’t bother.

So what happens when you apply the engineering mind to AirBNB?

Treating it like an engineering challenge is not something one normally thinks of when thinking of specialty landlording.

But since Al Williamson used to be an engineer, his mind went to work on the “problems” of AirBNB landlording.

Yes, many do it and get results, sometimes even great results, but not *MAXIMIZED* results, because they are doing it almost by accident, rather than doing it by design.
