Nice try.
It usually happens 2 or 3 times each month.
Someone approaches me with a ‘deal’ that is “ready to go”, but they need me to partner with them on it.
And by partner with them, they mean teach them everything, review their awful legal contracts, find a buyer, negotiate a better price, do a proper inspection, manage the entire deal through all the conflicts, etc.
Yikes Batman.
Not so fast.
It sounds like I’ll be doing everything.
And coaching for free in the process, as it isn’t really a deal, but I’ll need to explain all the steps as I go and edumacate them along the way.
Free coaching for them.
Nothing but a time suck for me.
So I don’t do it.
Certainly not for people who aren’t even my Implementation Bootcamp students.
My Implementation Bootcamp students know how they can get my advice and guidance on deals. But that’s just for them.
For everyone else:
Nope.
Mean?
No.
It’s practical.
One’s time needs to be protected.
There’s a huge lesson for many of you in that.
When you’re ready for more lessons, there’s just one way to do it.
And this week’s Implementation Bootcamp is the last for 2020.
