Tom, you talk a lot about retirement and “retiring early”. It doesn’t seem realistic that I’d get the gold watch in only a few years. Sounds like hype to me. Explain.
You are hardly going after the “gold watch”.
Times have changed, my friend.
Retirement is indeed rapidly achievable these days. It doesn’t take 50 years anymore.
IF you play your cards right and IF you make the right moves.
What’s my definition of retirement?
1. The ability to not have to work a conventional job of any kind;
2. To be able to live off of your investments and maintain the lifestyle that you are accustomed to and comfortable with without feeling that you’ll never have what you need, want, and desire.
Will this happen overnight?
Will this happen without having to apply yourself and put some effort in?
But if you choose the right strategy — and then focus on it passionately — there’s no reason why it can’t happen in just a few years.
I’ve done it.
And so has Brad Sumrok.
I did it in wholesaling.
Brad did it in apartment investing.
And now we’re free from the confines of life that drive most people slowly insane.
Does being retired mean that there is no work to be done?
That would be boring.
But having to occasionally take care of an issue or a challenge is nothing compared to having to work for someone else 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, 2080 hours a year.
So yes, it’s a very good lifestyle.
And with apartment buildings, just one good deal can set you free permanently.
Think about it… if one good apartment building produced enough monthly profits to cover all your expenses and “fun money”, then you’d be retired too.
Is it truly doable?
You need to know how!
And then you need to go forth and do it.
