This is a message about…
Coffee.
(What did you think I was gonna say?)
I’m “down under” in Australia and New Zealand for a couple weeks, and they have a very different way of naming their coffee drinks here.
They call them:
* Short Black
* Long Black
* Flat White
I had to ask the barista to be sure what each was.
(And I tried not to laugh at her answers.)
“Short black” (which I thought didn’t exist…) is an expresso.
“Long black” (ahem) is an expresso with water added (an Americano?)
And “Flat White”, she explained, is basically a latte without the frothy white head. (no comment…)
Which got me thinking about how not knowing terminology and definitions can make a subject very confusing.
Especially for a real estate investor.
There are many different terms to know.
Some are technical.
Some are legal.
Some are simple once you know them.
And some stay complicated no matter how hard you try.
But knowing the lingo, the vocabulary, and the usage of how people in our business talk is a key ingredient to your success.
It helps you know what’s going on.
It helps you interface with your legal team better.
And it provides a solid base to accelerate your learning even more because you understand more.
Which is why I spend time at my Rapid Cash Generation Bootcamp teaching you the lingo, defining it all, and being sure you walk out mastering it all completely.
Because then you are set to tackle any situations that occur so you can keep your deals on-track and avoid any derailments.
That means your motivated seller gets their problem solved.
And that means you Get Paid.
That’s flat out the long and short of it.
Yes, I’m brewing up another awesome training experience for you at my next Bootcamp.
