How I’m angering other gurus

Got this email from another “guru” who shall remain nameless:

“Do you really think people will buy your coaching program because you tell them it takes hard work and discipline? That’s not what people want to hear dude. You’ll sell more when you drop that crap and just think like them.”


I don’t really care.

I’m going to tell it like it is no matter what.

I don’t want to be surrounded by a bunch of mind-numbed Kool-Aid drinkers, I want to be surrounded by properly informed people who know what it takes to really succeed and aren’t afraid to do the work that it takes to get the deal.

Maybe the truth hurts.

And maybe it’s hard to sell.

But I don’t care.

The truth is a core value for me.

And I want it to be for you too.

And since I only want to work with people who accept the reality of having to put some effort in to achieve success, it doesn’t bother me if I scare away the rest.

Let them drink the Kool-Aid and then wonder why their lives are still stuck at the starting line, while me and my students are celebrating at the finish.

Celebrating with a fabulous entrepreneurial lifestyle of profit, options, freedom, and control over our time.
