“Tom, reading between the lines of your emails, I’d say you’re having a mid-life crisis.”

Funny.
When I recently picked my attorney up to have lunch she said the same thing.
She told me my car reeks of mid-life crisis.
It’s an supercharged Audi S5 Convertible. Black, with black interior.
I simply said it’s the car I’ve always wanted.
She told me it isn’t really a family car.
I responded that my boys LOVE being picked up from school in it and driving around with the top down.
She said I was proving her point exactly.
Whatever.
I’m happier than ever.
Why?
Because I pushed through my misery years ago.
(Was that a quarter-life crisis…?)
Yup.
I was miserable in a 9-to-5 J.O.B.
I was miserable taking orders from someone else.
I was miserable having a limitation on how much moolah I made.
Then I broke free and discovered real estate investing.

Yes, I flopped around at first. But then I accelerated rapidly. Now 15+ years later, I’m still boss-free, 9-to-5 free, and not at all worried about bringing in enough of the green stuff to live an awesome lifestyle.
Bragging?
No.
I’m inspiring you!
How many people do you personally know who can say that, and are actually happy to help you achieve the same?
I’d guess not too many in today’s world. (Which is one of the BIG problems these days…)
