I think it’s happening.
The market is changing.
Finally.
I’ve been here before.
Yes, I could be wrong. Or I could be right. Truly only time will tell.
But I’m starting to see the signs.
Things that remind me of 2008. Like deja vu all over again.
That’ll make 2 full cycles I’ve been in business through.
Yikes, I must be getting old…
Anyway…
Depending where you are, it might be fast, or it might be slow.
And even within certain markets, some parts of a given market will change faster than others.
No, I’m not sounding an alarm.
(Though we’ve printed enough money lately to screw over many generations to come…)
I actually welcome a changing (slowing) market. Because while I find deals in all types of markets, a “down market” is even easier.
Does that wreck our business?
Is it the end of real estate investing as we know it?
No.
Not. At. All.
In fact, it makes it even better.
Yes, better. Because there are MORE motivated sellers who suddenly have LESS options.
And since people keep getting into life’s various troubles, there are ALWAYS motivated sellers, so having less options means more people who want and NEED my help.
But you need to be in the game.
Not on the sidelines eating junk food.
You need to be moving.
So get moving.
