Butchering the baker’s candlesticks

You know the line from the old nursery rhyme…

“The Butcher, the Baker, and the Candlestick maker.”

In real estate, these 3 characters play a VERY important role.

How so?

It has to do with job creation and how it changes neighborhoods.

Because for every 1 job created, 3 more follow.

Yes, for every 1 job created, jobs also get created for a butcher, a baker, and a candlestick maker, so to speak.

Or in other words…

When a new job is created, it also creates the need for:

* Teachers,
* Police,
* Mechanics,
* Bus drivers,
* Repairmen,
* Shop managers,
* Grocers,
* Clerks,
* and the list goes on, and on, and on…

That’s the power.

Because all the new jobs need people in life with other jobs to support them in the wonderfully tangled web that we weave as a society.

It’s pure growth.

Yup, that’s what all the fuss is about, and why job creation is such a fabulous and critical thing for both the local area and the nation as a whole.

And it makes for great real estate values appreciation for us investors.

I’m in a good spot now to invest in these growing areas.
