Everybody loves a good rags-to-riches story.
TV and movies are full of them.
How about a blue-collar worker to millionaire story?
We like that too.
That’s exactly the path of our guest speaker this month, Tom Nardone.
He’s known as the “Millionaire Mailman”.
When he was 19 years old, he fell into working for the Post Office delivering mail.
But after a few years, he couldn’t stand working for Uncle Sam anymore.
He realized that every day in his normal post office job, he walked around looking at houses all day. He would see run down vacant houses, and because he delivered the mail, he would know when people would go into foreclosure, because he delivered the certified mail from the bank to the owners that were in trouble.
He started offering the owners to buy their houses.
And it worked like gangbusters!
Before long, people were calling him the “Millionaire Mailman”
As his real estate business was doing fantastic, he quit his blue-collar mailman job with Uncle Sam, and went full time into flipping houses and renting the properties he owned.
Tom has personally purchased and sold over 250 properties worth over 25 million dollars which includes fix-n-flips, foreclosures and REO’s, multi-family, and short sales.
Now he’s found a great niche that fits the current crazy hot market perfectly.
He calls it “Cost-Plus Building” and does it with vacant lots and either puts a mobile home on them, or builds a house from scratch.
