There’s a huge obsession with reviews and ratings lately.
And it’s been driven to whole new heights from all the app-based services that seem to thrive on user reviews.
But are they actually any good?
Or even accurate?
For example,
I usually choose a hotel that is central and has some panache.
For a change of pace and to test my theory, I tried doing bookings for a couple of trips just by the reviews.
I wound up not being terrible thrilled with any of the “highly recommended” choices.
The problem with relying on reviews is that it assumes other people actually know what they’re talking about — and that you’d agree with their tastes and choices.
That’s why a curated experience by someone you like is so much more valuable than just going along with the noisy crowd of people who bother to write comments.
Most of the things it’s just the annoying gammas with an ax to grind, or the do-gooders who think they are leaving happy breadcrumbs for others to follow in karma-land.
But for the discerning customer, you want something more.
Something only a curated experience can provide.
I know this may just be me, my style, and my preferences. Your mileage may vary.
But, for me, I’d rather make my own judgement calls based on my experience in the field.
Same way I do for doing real estate deals.
And knowing how to negotiate them.
What the crowd does and approves of doesn’t matter to me. The crowd is usually wrong. And I’ve almost always found heading in the exact opposite direction from them gets me the best results.
That’s the same approach I take to teaching the real estate investing business.
Now, this doesn’t mean what I have to offer is for you.
You may not like it.
It may not be a fit.
But if you like my style,
Like what I say when I write,
And feel like it’s different than the sea of normalcy out there, then you just might like it.
My curated experience might be the exact thing that revolutionizes — yes, revolutionizes — how to conduct both your business and life going forward.
Yes, that’s a pretty punchy statement.
And I think I can back it.
Interested?
