VICKY:
“Tom, I’m fascinated by your email yesterday. You were on a volcano? An active one? Is that wise? I tried to post a comment on your blog but I couldn’t.”
TOM:
I have blog commenting turned off. I prefer email responses.
Yes, the Rinjani volcano is still active. It had activity in 2009.
Was it wise to go?
Yes.
Because I like the thrill of adventure as it adds massive enjoyment to life, mind, body, soul and spirit.
And it motivates my business brain to work at an even higher level of hyper-drive.
Was it risky?
I don’t worry about that sort of thing.
Because everything has risk.
LIFE is just risky.
I accept that and don’t let it stop me from moving ahead.
Heck, I live in the heart of a major terrorist target. I don’t really need to leave home to face risk.
Risk is everywhere.
In business and in life.
Things happen anywhere at any time.
When your number is up, your number is up.
So I figure I might as well live large and take life by the horns purposefully while I can.
You should too.
