I have an article there called “Congress must extend housing short sale tax relief” and it details why the threat of tax penalties has a chilling effect on recovery.

This is one of the many issues I follow and lobby for on behalf of the real estate investor community as the President of Traction REIA and a Board Member of the National Real Estate Investors Association.

If we don’t pay attention to legislation and regulation, then we can have our businesses, livelihoods, and ability to help motivated sellers crushed by the unintended consequences of bad government policy.

The short sale tax is a perfect example.
