But how much does the other guy make?

What any other investor makes is irrelevant to you.

Just because she did, doesn’t mean you will.

Just because he didn’t, doesn’t mean you won’t.

There are just too many factors at play:
* Their market position
* Their negotiation skills
* Their Experience
* Their consistency
* Years their property was owned
* Market timing
* Neighborhood variations
* Luck
* Quality and efficiency of their contractor
* Quality of their tenants
* How much rehab work they do themselves
* How much risk they’re willing to tolerate.
* If their spouse has a “safe secure” job so they can take long shot gambles

And the list goes on and on…

All of which make their success or payout on a deal totally irrelevant to you.

You’ll make what you’ll make when you put the effort in.

And someone else will make what they make when they put the effort in.

But that’s usually the problem.

You don’t put the effort in.

So you never get the results.

Simple.

Or you wait around for a guarantee, or for the planets to be aligned, or to see the pointless ‘proof’ of someone else, and therefore all you do is wait.

You never take action.

Never implement.

And never get results.

So it doesn’t matter how much you stare at someone else, you should only be starting at the man or woman in the mirror.

Because that’s the only person’s results that actually matter to you.
