Let me explain…

A British friend of mine likes to joke that Americans in general are nauseatingly enthusiastic about *EVERYTHING* that they do.

Whether or not it is actually worth being enthusiastic about.

He says our enthusiasm is addictive at first, but sometimes we get carried away and get hyper-enthusiastic about too many mundane things, such as when we start applauding “the arrival of a salad”.

Or high-fiving a desert.

Okay, I’ll admit that we Americans are an enthusiastic bunch.

And sometimes we might get carried away a bit.

But perhaps that’s why we’ve been able to achieve so much in a relatively short amount of time considering how young our great nation is.

Our enthusiasm leads us to push to achieve great heights, discover new things, put men on the moon, etc.

And my personal enthusiasm has kept me focused on building a great business that supports my family and my lifestyle.

So I consider it an asset.
