Then it's time to get Traction. My name is Tom Zeeb. I founded Traction Real Estate Mentors in 2005 when I started coaching my first student. He came to me after I had been in business for 4 years, wanting to learn what I do.
At first, I was reluctant. I wasn't sure how to teach.
But he had a desperate look in his eye and really needed my help.
So, I taught him everything I know about marketing, negotiation, contracts, control, and getting paid.
And I got him through his first deal.
It changed everything for him. And it made me fall in love with teaching.
Since then, I've trained more than 1,000 students on how to get traction in their businesses and go off on their own.
It's awesome watching people transform their lives, and their families’ lives, while doing something they love that also renovates and transforms their communities one house at a time. (I know that sounds corny, but that’s how I feel about it.)
For my personal investing, I do rehabs, rentals, and wholesaling. But it's wholesaling that I still predominantly do the most. The quick in-and-out nature and minimal headaches fit my personality well. And the money it brings in creates and maintains a terrific lifestyle.
But that's just exit strategies. What really matters is consistently finding deals, negotiating deals, and getting paid. That means focusing on finding and making deals, which is the same no matter which exit strategy you choose: rehab, rental, wholesale, commercial, etc. -- They all start in the same place. That's what the people obsessing over exit strategy are missing.
