A Sicilian Message

“Scusi Signor Carabinieri, the sign is very unclear, are we able to park here?”

“That depends”, the policeman replied.

“If you are just going for a quick espresso, then perhaps it is okay. But if you were doing something longer, then perhaps it isn’t.”

That certainly cleared it up…

I was in a small Sicilian village and the rules were not hard and fast, they were open to interpretation.

(Like a great many things in Sicily…)
